Sewing for Babies, Inc.
is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit, all volunteer organization that has combined our love for
babies with our of love sewing, knitting, and crocheting to provide warm blankets and clothing
for premature, sick and babies in need.
We deliver to hospitals, social services, crisis pregnancy centers, abuse centers,
WIC offices, various other women and children's agencies, and of course to individual families.
Working together as an organized group since January 1998, we incorporated on
September 22, 2000. Volunteers across Nebraska and Kansas are the heart and backbone
of our organization. We work together to care for God's smallest miracles of life.
We currently have work groups that meet in Lincoln, Minden, Kearney, Omaha and Beatrice
and would gladly welcome new groups.
We are funded solely by donations and all of our articles of warmth are donated to
those in need without charge. No salaries are paid to anyone within our organization.
